What is the GM Endoscopy Network?
The Greater Manchester Endoscopy Network was formally established in January 2022, covering seven Trusts across the region, bringing together a multi-disciplinary team of provider and system partners.
This collaboration enables delivery of high-quality endoscopy services, including clinical and operational leads, Greater Manchester Cancer Alliance, commissioning, histopathology, primary care and Community Diagnostics Centres.
The purpose of the network is to assess and plan for the current and future needs for endoscopy services, standardising and reducing variation in clinical practice, increasing productivity and ensuring the best use of resources. The network is also developing a workforce model that is resilient and ensures Greater Manchester is an employer of choice.
